The “Zwerver I” started working in Rimini (Italy) for A.R.E.N.A s.c.a.r.l (Dravo SA). She will support here the TSHD “HAM 316” with a beach nourishment project over a coast length of approx. 60 Km.
Her powerful deck equipment was directly used and functioned very well with the connection of two separate sinker lines with a Ø900 mm. It is normal practice to connect these pipelines with two multicat type vessels, but with its powerful deck cranes and winches the “Zwerver I” can deal with this operation without additional assistance.
The “Zwerver I” was baptized and commissioned at Harlingen. Mrs. Andrea de Haan-van Stee baptized the vessel. The vessel left on 8th March Harlingen with destination Rimini (Italy).
The “Zwerver I” which is under construction at Shipyard Kooiman at Zwijndrecht was transported from the building hall to the slipway. On the slipway all deck equipment was installed and vessel was launched at 10th February.
