Our Multi Purpose DP-1 support vessel “Zwerver III” finished her project during March 2016 in Ireland.
We mobilised the vessel during October 2015 to Ireland for PLGR and Massflow excavation operations near the Irish Coast on a power cable route.
The vessel was chartered by Prysmian Powerlink Services for a period of approximately 5 months.
After this project, vessel immediately went to Rotterdam for her next assignment.
The construction of the new Multi Purpose DP-2 Support Vessel “Zwerver II” is on schedule.
The hull is almost finished, with all details attached. Last week the main winches were installed, including the unique designed aft crane-/gangway column.

HvS Dredging Support BV has ordered a new Multi Purpose DP-2 Support Vessel, which will be named “Zwerver II”.
The vessel is based on the existing “Zwerver III”, which is very succesful in the current market, but equipped with some very innovative solutions.
These solutions have been developed and implemented in close cooperation between HvSDS and Scheepswerf Gebr. Kooiman, enabling the new “Zwerver II” to serve the top of the market sector.
We mobilized our Multi Purpose DP-1 support vessel “Zwerver III” in Rostock to carry out backfilling operations on the trench of the export cable of “Baltic II Offshore Wind Farm” during August 2015. On the vessels deck, there was a lot of equipment installed for these operations. Equipment such as survey equipment, A-frame, spreader-pipe, floating pipeline and many more were easy positioned on the spacious deck of the vessel. The project was carried out in a window of 6 weeks together with 2 TSHD’s and 1 assisting multicat. The vessel was chartered by Boskalis Heinrich Hirdes GmbH.
