The “Zwerver I” left Egypt for Kakinada at the E-coast of India

After the completion of the landfall projects in Egypt and Israel with the pipe laybarge “TOG MOR”, the “Zwerver I” left Egypt for Kakinada at the E-coast of India. In the beginning of October, vessel arrived and started working offshore Kakinada with the “TOG MOR”.

HvS Dredging Support B.V. won a contract with the offshore company Allseas Marine Contractors. Our broker for this contract is Seacontractors B.V.
The contract consists of three different projects, 1 landfall in Egypt, 1 landfall in Israël and 1 large pipe laying project in India. The complete contract will be carried out through our latest addition to our fleet “Zwerver I”.

The main job of the “Zwerver I” is assisting the pipe laybarge “TOG MOR” with anchorhandling (7 and 10 T Delta Flipper anchors), mooring of pipecarrier-barges, supply of goods/materials etc.

The “Zwerver I” has finished her first project in Ravenna for Van Oord/DravoSa. The beach nourishment took about 2,5 months. Main job was assisting TSHD “HAM 316” and movements/connecting of several sinker lines and floating lines.

The “Zwerver II” started again on the second new port construction in the North of Morocco near Tanger. The “Zwerver II” was also chartered for the first new port construction, the building of the container port “New port of Tanger Med 1”. The main contractor on this project is the same consortium S.R.P.T.M., where the marine construction company Saipem S.A. is a part of.

The “Zwerver II” was involved in a pipelaying project near Sfax in Tunesia. The contractor was Subocean Ltd. Our broker at this project was DSB Offshore Ltd. The main job was to assist with the pulling of the “Gas export line” from the shore to the Island of Kerkennah. The waterdepths where varying between 1,5 and 3,0 mtr, mainly very shallow.
